For spring 2009, Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton's collection featured lots of beautiful and intricate details: criss-cross, cutaway backs, pleating, ruched silk, layers of fabrics superimposed, and zippers. A lot of the pieces were typical Preen with soft volumes but also showed a departure from their signature style with more body-conscious looks and materials cut tight to the body in white, blood red, putty or pale turquoise.
The show opened with a delightful and gorgeous white one-shoulder cocktail dress with cutouts at the ribs, inset with a wide mesh.
The rest of the collection featured a lot of sexy, floaty, weightless pieces...
