Escapism and horses
Over the Bank Holiday weekend I explored the New Forest, a natural playground of delights, leaving the certainties and hectic pace of London life behind. We stayed in a glamorous hotel surrounded by ancient trees and under the influence of the sunny Indian summer took hundreds of pictures!

The New Forest – why I had never before heard of it! It looks like the perfect escape. I love horses – symbols of untamed poetry when allowed to roam free. Your beautiful photos have really stimulated my imagination today. I am once again longing for beauty.
